Chetham
(Armchair)
The 17th and 18th centuries include what is known as the Age of Libraries. The first important library
with complete access to the public was Chetham’s library in Manchester, England. Our Chetham chair features scroll arms that continue back to form the frame’s back legs. It boasts, as standard, a finely executed hand button tufted inside back and a single welt throughout the frame.
